=> 32 + 5
=> (37)10

(100101)2 = (?)10
=> (1 × 2^5) + (0 × 2^4) + (0 × 2^3) + (1 × 2^2) + (0 × 2^1) + (1 × 2^0)
=> 32 + 0 + 0 + 4 + 0 + 1
=> (37)10

hence, Statement I is correct

(11011)2 = (?)10
=> (1 × 2^4) + (1 × 2^3) + (0 × 2^2) + (1 × 2^1) + (1 × 2^0)
=> 16 + 8 + 0 + 2 + 1
=> (27)10

(1b)16 = (?)10
=> (1 × 16^1) + (11 × 16^0)
=> 16 + 11
=> (27)10
