P = 10000
T = 2.5 years
R = 8% per annum

First Calculate CI + P of 2 years
10000(1+8/100)^2 = 11664 - (i)

Now, calculate Interest for half year
P = 11664
T = 1/2 year
R = 8
=> (11664 x 1/2 x 8) / 100 = 466.56 - (ii)

Add (i) and (ii)
11664 + 466.56 = ₹12130.56
