In AEE – IVth figure of a syllogism, the structure follows:
A (All P are M) → Universal Affirmative
E (No S is M) → Universal Negative
E (No S is P) → Universal Negative (Conclusion)
For Venn diagram representation:
The region of SPM (Subject-Predicate-Middle term intersection) must be shaded to show no connection between S and M.
The region of SPM itself must also be shaded to reflect the universal nature of the premises.
