Nitrous oxide (N₂O) is not typically classified as an air pollutant. Instead, it is a greenhouse gas that contributes to global warming and ozone depletion. It is not a direct pollutant like NO (Nitric oxide), NO₂ (Nitrogen dioxide), or NOₓ (a combination of nitrogen oxides) which are harmful air pollutants that contribute to smog and respiratory issues.
