Organizational Communication

Organizational communication refers to the communication that takes place between people who are working towards common goals within an organization. It has several types -

संगठनात्मक संचार

संगठनात्मक संचार से तात्पर्य उस संचार से है जो किसी संगठन के भीतर सामान्य लक्ष्यों की दिशा में काम कर रहे लोगों के बीच होता है। इसके कई प्रकार हैं -

Vertical Communication

Downward communication 

It is when Top-Level Managers share information with lower-level employees. An example may be an announcement of a new CEO or a notice of a merger with a former competitor.

अधोमुखी संचार

ऐसा तब होता है जब शीर्ष स्तर के प्रबंधक निचले स्तर के कर्मचारियों के साथ जानकारी साझा करते हैं। इसका एक उदाहरण नए सीईओ की घोषणा या किसी पूर्व प्रतिस्पर्धी के साथ विलय की सूचना हो सकता है।

Upward Communication

Information moving from lower-level employees to high-level employees is upward communication. For example, workers demand a pay raise for a supervisor.

उर्ध्व संचार

निचले स्तर के कर्मचारियों से उच्च स्तर के कर्मचारियों तक जाने वाली सूचना उर्ध्व संचार है। उदाहरण के लिए, कर्मचारी पर्यवेक्षक के लिए वेतन वृद्धि की मांग करते हैं।

Horizontal communication 

It involves the exchange of information across departments at the same level in an organization (i.e., peer-to-peer communication). It mostly includes social activities and grapevine communication.

क्षैतिज संचार

इसमें एक संगठन में समान स्तर पर विभागों में सूचनाओं का आदान-प्रदान शामिल है (यानी, सहकर्मी से सहकर्मी संचार)। इसमें अधिकतर सामाजिक गतिविधियाँ और अंगूर संचार शामिल हैं।

Grapevine Communication 

It is a method of informal and unofficial form of communication held in a workplace. It does not have any defined structure or agenda and is carried out by the people in an organization in the form of rumors, gossip, false statements, and half-truths.

अंगूर संचार

यह कार्यस्थल पर अनौपचारिक और अनौपचारिक संचार का एक तरीका है। इसकी कोई परिभाषित संरचना या एजेंडा नहीं है और इसे किसी संगठन के लोगों द्वारा अफवाहों, गपशप, झूठे बयानों और आधे-अधूरे सच के रूप में चलाया जाता है।

Diagonal communication 

It is cross-functional communication between employees at different levels of the organization. For example, if a sales representative e-mails the vice president of marketing, asking when a product will be available for shipping, then diagonal communication has occurred.

विकर्ण संचार

यह संगठन के विभिन्न स्तरों पर कर्मचारियों के बीच क्रॉस-फ़ंक्शनल संचार है। उदाहरण के लिए, यदि कोई बिक्री प्रतिनिधि मार्केटिंग के उपाध्यक्ष को ईमेल करता है, यह पूछते हुए कि कोई उत्पाद शिपिंग के लिए कब उपलब्ध होगा, तो विकर्ण संचार हुआ है।
